About
Insitu was founded in 1994 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing. It designs and builds long-endurance fixed-wing drones, payloads and control software at its base in Bingen, Washington. The company has provided ISR services to the U.S. Marine Corps since 2004 and the Navy since 2005. In 2024 it reported more than 40 customers in 35 countries.
